Sounds pretty wild. As a side note, I believe that Craig Nettles' son Jeff is listed as an instructor at Diamond Baseball in West Knoxville:

Not TN related but since we lost our minor league team we have to take advantage of any opportunity to catch a live game....taking the boy to see the Babe Ruth World Series finale Saturday at The Hank Tourney Machine

The reason I ask, we went to Hunter Wright Stadium, home of the Axmen in the Appalachian League now, to see Gilbert and Tidwell playing with the collegiate USA team.

About a week later, something happened, like a player threatening to shoot team mates, I dunno…

Nice place to see a game though.

Macon Bacon, that’s great too, and about 3 months ago I wanted to see the Savannah Bananas in the Coastal because of their promos on Twitter. We, sadly, have not done anything, but next week The Pandas come to town and we’re going.

The Bananas came to Mobile...it was a blast! We actually wore our Macon Bacon shirts that we got when we were at the Cherry Blossom Festival..."security" tried to throw us out for being enemy spies lol...they put on a wonderful fun show

Off to see the Babe Ruth World Series championship for 16-18 year olds as an officially unofficial UT baseball scout..Onondaga upset number 1 Bakersfield last night 1-0 to earn championship berth vs Mobile

I forgot catching a foul ball and attempting to keep it was an arrestable, possibly even deportable, offense in youth baseball...man that 9 year old batboy sure was intimidating and had some mean wheels...great game kids from Syracuse won it all 6-5 over Mobile

Harwich season ends with a 5-4 loss (winning run in top 9). Beck 0-3. Tough way to go out, but that means our guy will be headed back to Rocky Top soon!
