Early 2nd quarter Purdy continues to shine because he has 2 tds.
The 49ers lead the Steelers 17-0. The Steelers with Pickett will need a great comeback.

The Steelers held the 49ers to a field goal which is a slight advantage because 20-0 is a lower deficit than 24-0.
The Steelers need to score before halftime because a great second half comeback is a challenging for Pickett.

Those refs will be talked to about that.... They aren't supposed to blow it dead for just that reason.

Titans/Saints

They covered their arses by doubling down and calling it a forward pass....... It wasn't.

It was a fumble recovered by the Titans and he would have scored.... But they went against what they are told to do blew it dead.

It looked like a play from The Replacements movie because a Cardinals defender created a fumble, and the football landed perfectly in front of the goal line for a Cardinals defender to pick up and move forward.

The Titans Saints is a low scoring thriller with field goals that the Titans lead 9-6.

The 49ers could still be a really good team.
Lucky for the Steelers they scored a td before halftime so the possibility of a successful Steelers comeback could happen.

All things considered, I'd give Dobbs a B- for his performance today. Bad conditions, little help, and 16 days on the roster. The fumbled snap killed the day but you'd think that gets better with full camp.

He made half a dozen great throws. They really babied him with lots of screens that got eaten up. No designed runs for some reason? He had a couple bad throws under pressure. Ertz dropped a TD that cost them 4 points and he dropped a 3rd down conversion.

It’s a dumpster fire in New England because the Eagles flying high after 1 quarter since they lead the Patriots 16-0.
