I think so, if our guys played with the intensity of the Auburn and Florida games. I wish they’d lose before then, though. I can’t stand the thought of having to play 5 on 8 against them again

I definitely think so. We had them beat last year if not for Edey being able to run roughshot over us.
Even if you don't feel he had tons of missed foul calls, we still played right with them.
Not saying it is a lock, because it would be the elite 8 where anything can happen, but we " could" definitely beat them. Meaning there is no real reason to think we couldn't.

Very great point by Wally on CBS. St. John is a really good second half team because Rick is smart and waits until the second half to really chance the tough defense that will no doubt put you at a greater risk of picking up fouls.

Essentially, he realizes he isn't a deep team so he knows he needs to protect his players in the first half so they will necessarily available when it really counts.
Barnes should take that page right out of Pitino’s book. IMO, it's the most important thing as far as us making a deep run this year.....stay out of first half foul trouble!!

Arkansas Vs Saint John’s

The Razorbacks have a realistic chance of an upset if they have less turnovers, get more rebounds, and succeed making a high percentage of baskets as in 60 percent or higher for the full game.

However, Saint John’s has been consistent all year, and in the second half Saint John’s offense has been an onslaught so I’m expecting the consistent team all season to outplay a foe that has been up and down this season.

Arkansas vs St John should be a good one.
I have Arkansas making it to the sweet 16 but they are going to have to play lights out 2nd half to get the win. I think this one could go either way.
Going to be a great game.

Starting to wonder about the Refs. A couple of calls have been key in changing momentum.
Seems they might be trying to rack up fouls on Arkansas key players

If you're going to call the bumps on D call them both ways, or just let them both bump and play.

I don’t understand St. John’s offense… Ivisic and Aidoo have 3 and 2 fouls, but their guards decide to jack up shots instead of playing through their big. Makes no sense to me.
