Kentucky vs Tennessee round 3 it is. I didn't think this Illinois team could hang with KY.
We better not start off slow like the last two games or we'll get our back blown out again by the Wild Scats.

Seems like Bama is the only team that matches extremely well with Kentucky

I didn’t think you were nuts. UConn is a blueblood, back2back champs with a ton of pride, and a good team. I knew it would be an absolute battle.

IDK man, we've been skating by on D. I could definitely see it happening.
Kentucky likes to get out and punch you in the face and then try to hit enough 3's to try and keep you at bay. We are very prone to start out slow.
Bad match-up. I think we need to start Gainey and make sure we don't fall behind early.

I've watched a lot of KY games this year. If they aren't hitting that 3 in a high clip they begin to get frustrated and make a bunch of mistakes.
It all comes down to taking the ball inside and keeping it close/getting a lead.
That, and hoping they miss the 3's. I would say not overhelp and shut the 3's down, but that didn't work out last two games. They will just cut to the basket on us.

Playing scared and turning the ball over.

Might as well prepare for the wildcats again.

I hated that this game came on so early. Told my wife UCONN vs UF was the game of the day. Was a great test for UF. Survived and to me will likely be the hardest game they have until possibly E8 or FF.

You don’t win 13 straight tourney games in a row by being lucky.

That’s not really a fair comparison though. We had AWFUL football teams for years. Tenn has been ranked near the top 5 all season. I expect our team to be motivated and play well.

Oh, I agree. Main reason they beat us last two games is they **** 50%+ from the floor AND from 3. We also shot horrible from 3 in both games. Statistically, it's not likely to happen again.
That's in our favor. Plus the fact we have played them twice and should know exactly what we need to do to win.
That all said, we tend to let good teams hang around and we usually have a couple cold spells in a game. That gives Kentucky a lot of opportunities to get their 3 point shot going.

But yeah, I believe we are the better team being they have to shoot so well to beat us.
Maybe it's BVS, but I just don’t have enough faith in our offense.
