UK just scares me.

Yeah, I know how hard it is to beat a team three times in a year.

Yeah I know historically that Barnes has done well bs UK while at UT.

But man, UK just seems to be a bad matchup for us and has had our number this year.

To beat them, we will need to play better in every facet of the game than we have vs them this year.

Boswell needs to do that every play.
Just like us if we play them. Kentucky is vulnerable/ has had a hard time stopping teams that take it to the basket.
To get into a shooting contest with them/settling for jump shots is playing into their hands.

........ he does it again. That's how you beat KY.

If they shoot a ton of them they for sure better be hitting. They don't need to shoot 3's.
They just went on a 10-2 run taking it to the basket.

.....Boswell to the basket again. He's figuring it out. If we play them, ZZ should take note.

Give me Kentucky

They best us twice this season, it's hard to bear a team twice, yet alone three times.

Illinois scares me more, they are athletic.

This game feels like the peak for Kentucky. Let them get hot in this game, get it out of their system.

Are boys are playing for a Final 4 for coach Barnes

They scored almost every time they drove it, but still kept shooting way too many threes.

True but you take the easier match ups in the Big Dance if you can.

Kentucky is not one of those.

In the end, nobody will care how you got to the Final Four.

I agee, it's not that it will be necessarily easier to play Illinois. I just like the match-up better because KY tends to make those timely 3's that leaves little margin of error as far as our shooting.
If we could play smart and everybody would show up, I might say KY would be preferred.
I just know we start slow and Igor hasn't been showing up here lately, so we really only have 3 starters right now we can count on for points.

We can beat them, just have to play our game and not theirs.
I understand your skepticism, I have my reservations too, but I'm going to be watching and praying we stomp their face in.
