The Official 2025 March Madness Discussion Thread

Can we admit that in a sport like basketball with this format championship, it’s a good thing when the conference does well? That being said I still want the top teams to lose since it helps the Vols chances, so go Maryland

I don’t really care about what opens up in the brackets. It doesn’t seem like we usually take advantage of it when it does. Just take it one game at a time.

I hope that Coach Gainey has a good scout of KY, Barnes and staff puts together a great game plan, and our experienced upperclassmen players execute it flawlessly.

When it comes to any game not involving UT my instinct is to try and consider what outcome is best for UT. Doesn’t matter how obscure, I try to rationalize an angle

I don’t follow the NBA let alone the draft, but i saw an ESPN article ranking the best nba prospects in the sweet 16. Mark sears was like dead last on their list! I get the game is different but given what a great college player he is that is wild to me
I agree, although I also don’t follow the NBA closely so I’m not sure how his game will translate to the NBA. He is certainly a heck of a college player though.

BYU playing exactly the way you can’t against Bama. Helter Skelter absolutely will not work with them. Just can’t allow them to free wheel on offense. If you allow them to get on a roll, they can get on a heater fast and it’s over.
