Pearl is a carny barker. You would think Auburn doesn't practice or it's filled with low IQ players.

This offense is settling for too many outside shots instead of driving the ball to the rim.

Springer and Johnson are the only guys driving the basketball to the rim on a consistent basis.

Too many turnovers in this game.

Out coached Barnes most of the game - had his guys drive... away from Keon, Springer and Pons. Went at the weaker defenders. That is coaching. Beat Barnes with a less talented roster. That is also coaching. Barnes didn’t and won’t adjust. Just keeps throwing his players under the bus. Barnes will end up in the hall of fame. But his best days are long long gone.

But you’d say most of Barnes issues are not of his making but rather his players. Lol.

Referees have ruined college basketball, and football, for this Vol fan. Ridiculous calls today that did pull the game in the direction of Auburn. Tennessee just can’t penetrate into the are between the arc and the goal. Either shoot threes or lose. Same on defense, the opponents seem to own the rim. Oh well, Gators at home next weekend. Low expectations for this team and too much attention to one and done freshmen going into SEC tourney.

So we are 6-4 in our last 10. That’s ok relative to NCAAT criteria. But when we loose to FL and the first round of SECT, we will then be 4-6 in our last ten. At 16-9 is that still a lock for NCAAT? What, like maybe a 9 seed?

Standing by for Barnes to deflect any blame whatsoever and throw his players under the bus into 3....2....1.......

This is Rick Barnes. He is a decent coach. Will make the tournament most years, his ceiling is an occasional SS. Can not recruit a 1 or 5. Will NEVER adjust or see blame in himself or his now outdated system.

We are playing with a bunch of 2s, 3s, and 4s. It is what it is.

What? You mean intentional fouls? Not subjective calls? BTW I said we put Vandy away because of free throws, nice try there though Buddy, you get a B for effort

True. The reason is we have nothing from interior players. Fulkerson is running around setting picks 20 feet from the rim and even when he is in the paint he is rarely asking for the ball. Pons is almost strictly a finesse player inside where his only move is a fade away jump shot. Springer and Johnson can drive to the basket. Pons rarely does and although James should have the ability to put the ball on the floor he just won’t do it. We don’t have anyone else who can do it.

Can u believe this team was ranked 6th in the country at one point? Pearl owns Barnes...period. Don't give me injuries and all that BS. This team was the most overrated.... overhyped team in college basketball this year. This is an average team at best. An early exit in the SEC tourney will lead to an early exit in the ncaa's and wrap up another disappointing season. At least we beat Kentucky once. Yippee.

Overall the record will show this to be an above average team record wise...but in reality...right now at this moment they are below average. Sucks when all these other teams are getting better as the season goes on and UT folds...playing uninspired...bad basketball. How does that not reflect on the coach? Barnes is what he is.

Nope, theres a difference between banging in the post with 12 min to go being called/not called and intentional reaches and wrapping a guy up late in the game.

Pearl is the gift that keeps on giving.. he owns us .. although you watch them play .. they don't look very well coached.. he just says go play shoot rebound rebound rebounds .. shoot rebound .. thats all they do .. hope they fall .. rebound and get fouled .

One tough stat to digest. Auburn MISSED more free throws than we attempted if I saw the stat correctly. Auburn 24-37 and Vols 9-10.

Tenn attempts the shots which are usually bricks but the rebound part has not been taught yet. Pearl owns Barnes.
