Yeah, a lot of them down here would carry the common calibers 30-06 .270 some pistol rounds. After the last few runs, not much available anymore.

Mine out here had some oddball calibers like .32-20 and .32 NAA or something like that lol.

I honestly haven't looked since I haven't been in there just to browse on the last few years. I might take a look next time I'm in.

I’m not a fan of Beretta personally. No reason other than the M9

Ha. I never had issues with the M9. I saw the CX4 pop up on Hickok’s page and it looked like a cool plinker.

The CX4 is one of the very best carbines of its type available (in my opinion).

The CX4 is extremely reliable, fairly light weight, has good ergonomics, and will run like your typical semi auto rifles while being able to use Beretta pistol magazines (if you already have them.

The gun is very compact, and has a smoothed/rounded design (lacking sharp lines, angles and such).

Many folks “still” prefer the CX4 over an AR-9. It’s a fine shooter, it’s fun, and it different……..while being reliable.

In the “looks” department most either love it or hate it…….if the looks don’t matter it’s a blast……I think you would love it.

Again just my opinion.

I’d go with the *CZ Scorpion over Beretta.

I have a CZ P10 and it’s a great gun. I was actually going to get a .22 just to mess around with and I saw that CX 4 and it caught eye.

Have you looked at the Ruger PC Charger? My buddy has a Scorpion, and I got the Charger after shooting it -- same with the price tag concern. We both like mine every bit as much as the CZ, and it's easier to put a brace on.
