It was because of the ~60 fouls. Hard to defend when your starting lineup is in foul trouble all game.

We played zone for like 60% of the game due to foul trouble and our zone is trash.

The refs did call a tight game (56 fouls). Maybe that was for the best due to how chippy it was becoming at the end. We had 18 turnovers and did give up some open looks in the 2nd half... but we shouldn't complain about a 10 point road win.

Yes. I was a bit hyperbolic, the second half frustrated me with Davenport (and Memphis) getting trash points.

We just took Memphis’ best shot. They will not play this good again this year. We have yet to play our best game. We need Turner back on a bad way. With Turner, this is a 15-20 point win

Yeah, I’ve watched Memphis play several times this year and the thing that always stuck out about them to me was they couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat from 3... yet in the second half here they were absolutely on fire from 3.... they want do that again this year I’m willing to bet.

A road win in hostile territory is always good. Would have hosed them by 20 at home. I like the fact that this team comes out of the locker room with fire and makes a statement early. This will be a huge advantage on the road if they keep it up.

Probably could have won by more, but fantastic job of never really allowing Memphis to make a strong run.

We beat a good team in an intense rivalry environment without allowing them to get all that close. This team is clearly special!
