Players need to play hard no matter who the opponent is. This is the seventh game. Backups need to be improving or they need to move on.

I think this coming class and the portal will lead to just that. With the youth movement plus what's leaving from this years roster, I think we're destined for a rather significant step back next season. Make hay this year.

UT’s third string is probably about the same talent level as UTM’s starters, nothing to see here really. Let the boys enjoy their playing time without feeling the need to dog them every time they do something wrong.

If we left the starters in, we could name the score.

This is the reason you want a big lead so when you bring out the low end of the bench they can get some game time experience to learn what game speed is vs practice speed.
No way was the offense going to look the same as the starting, nor was the play calling going to be the same. It has to be slowed down. Same goes for the defense but I'd sure would've liked to have seen some balls that could've been picked off
