I think today's game said more about us than Longwood. Longwood was able to hang with us shot for shot for a good amount of the 1st half. But we wouldn't let up and shot incredibly well throughout the game. We withstood the early pressure and never relented. At the end of the day, I think we were the buzzsaw that Longwood ran into.

If Michigan and their fans want to believe it was simply a matter of being outmatched, they are deceiving themselves. We've beat Kentucky twice. We beat UNC who ran them out the gym. We beat Auburn. We won the SEC tourney. We certainly aren't going to be overwhelmed in any way by Michigan.

I should let this go without comment but WTF??? is the point to this?
Longwood gave us all we could handle for 10 minutes
We were by far more talented and better prepared
But Hill was a very strong player and this little program ended up where most 14 to 16 seeds end up

"ABSOLUTE TRASH"???? no - just way out of their league - where they were the champs.

He will play more the next game since Michigan has traditional big men. I would've liked to have seen him exploit the height advantage.

Plasvic is more disappointing as an upperclassman and starter. He looked scared to go up strong like he thought he would get his shot blocked.

Kenny is a very good NBA analyst. Part of me thinks he is trying to stir the pot for ratings or is friends with Howard since both played in the NBA. I love this Vol team and enjoy watching them play.

No foul called on Richmond player against a three ball attempt. It was very obvious. 5 point lead for Richmond with 57 sec. Iowa in trouble

Yeah Smith sounded like an idiot--- yes we rolled and looked great, but now all of a sudden he thinks we are going to hit some kind of buzz saw and not be ready... I guess he's ready to make the argument for the other teams that will get big leads in the first round right? By his rational, Anyone who wins big today or tomorrow better watch out and be ready... They don't even do their homework and don't even know the players... Does he know we just went through the SEC tourney and won it where there are 6 teams currently playing in the tourney??
Worse, what about the teams that should roll and don't!? I guess they may as well not even show up for game 2 right?? :rolleyes:

Uros has been that way all season and it worries me for next year... someone HAS to get with this kid in the offseason and work with him on maximizing his height, wingspan, and athleticism... he's got the measurables to dominate... but plays like Jane... Aidoo is really going to have to step up next season...
