The only reason 17-14 Michigan is in this tournament is the B1G bias of the media that influences the selectors.
They lost to UNC a team we beat by 21 and to recently deceased Iowa by 11
Kenny Smith of the ACC shouldn't be such a B1G promoter.

I really hope you're kidding. Longwood was in way above their weight class, and competed hard for 40 minutes. What's the point of trashing a small school that won 26 games and their conference and experienced a tournament game and all the trappings? Congrats to them for a great season and now on to Michigan.

I've thought all season that he would benefit from another year here, and maybe move up to close to a lottery pick, but as it stands he's projected as a mid-late 1st rounder, so the die has been cast.

Y’all missed the point but it’s all good. Wasn’t asking for the starters to remain in the game or them to keep their foot on the pedal. Simply made a statement about them being sloppy with the fundamentals.

They got the W and no injuries so I’m ecstatic. Just think their sloppiness with the basics is gonna bite them against a better opponent.

The difference in JJJ's confidence over the last two months reflects this team's improvement. I love how he is playing. Also, he smiles a lot now. He never did before. Maybe it's weird, but I notice dumb little things like that.

The 2 he missed weren’t a big deal today. He might have lost focus since they didn’t matter. I wish he would focus every time he takes one though.

I think he’s been making enough the most recent few games when they do count that IMO the hack-a-Shaq strategy would backfire.

I think they came to play and competed. Vols started hitting shots and locked down defensively and took their heart and soul

Michigan was extremely lucky to even sniff the tournament and really shouldn’t be in it. Got there by name only. As I mentioned earlier, there is a reason they are 17 and 14. If we play to our potential and they play to theirs, I like our chances.

I applaud the respect. You can be respectful and still play sound basketball, which they struggled to do the last 10 minutes. Not asking them to run the score up or keep starters in. Particularly an extension of an 8 game win streak and
13 of 14 since Jan 20 including a first SEC Tourney Championship since 79
given the "almost perfect game' with 29 assists on 33 made buckets
- but evidently one would be wrong. There is just no pleasing some fans.

Yes, you would be wrong. There are plenty of negative Nancies on here who wouldn’t recognize a basketball if it hit them in the nose. I don’t pay much attention to crazy especially after a superb performance like that.
