The Official #3 Tennessee vs #2 Vandy Weekend Series Thread (Game 1 Friday @ 7PM) (Game 2 Saturday @ 4PM) (Game 3 Sunday @ 1PM)

Said a few weeks back that Vandy hasn’t faced the best arms in the SEC and the meat of their schedule started last week. Webb struck out 13 in 6 innings in Nashville and they were held to one run on Sun by Cannon. Dallas held them to 2 earned runs through 7 last night. May not be relevant to you but getting your ass kicked by Georgia on your home field seems relevant to me. Talk to me when the schedule is over about their offense. All I know is the last 4 SEC games they have looked average to below average. That’s a fact.
It’s baseball, you have off days. You also said Rocker had lost his velocity and is now a pitcher sitting 89-92. I was at the game last night and he set 95-97 all night with multiple touches to 98.

Here comes an explanation about Rocker being saved by a bad strike zone.

He was lighting up the fastball last night.

When you strike out 13 times in 6 innings, that is more than 2 per inning. That’s the definition of owned.

Leiter may do it to us 1 1/2 hours from now and if he does then I will tip my cap and say he owned our hitters today.
I noticed you glossed over the fact they had a big bat out of their line up and had inexperienced ones in his place.

I'm gonna guess the game will start on an the alternate channel? Or will they bump the Mizzou vs MSU softball game to the alternate. They've got SEC softball currently on ESPN2, ESPNU and SECN....

Ridiculous if they don't bump this softball game to the alternate channel.
