The easy thing to say back is that the team needs to start hitting with a little consistency. But the error sure was inexcusable.

We’re panic swinging now. This feels like the Sunday UF game. Once we got down we felt like we had to get the runs back on one swing the next inning. Leiter has thrown a fair amount of pitches, make him work, get the count up more. Quicker to the bullpen, minus Maldanado, the better.

That error just deflated the stadium and the team. You could feel the energy through the television before that happened and now it feels like a graveyard. Man, that is the costliest error I have seen in quite some time.
