It's also the SEC Championship. It's bad timing but my guess that was set a lot time ago and as much as I don't care about it I can see why they would.

Same, and I know they probably like them but I wish they and the softball team would follow the football and basketball teams and drop the Smokey Grays. I will forever associate those uniforms with Butch Jones. Stick with orange and white.

These are creamsicle today, not Smokey Grey. I don't think we ever wear Smokey Grey in SEC series. Only mid-week games. Although I could very well be wrong. Even if we have worn them in SEC play, I don't mind it. It's baseball, it's known for lots of different uni combos. I think wearing the same thing every game is a bit boring.

Yea, while ratings aren’t good, it helps the conference when you can recruit, telling young ladies that their championship will be televised.

Apologies. Your message read a bit like you were saying you liked the uniforms (Smokey Grey) but wish they didn't wear them as they weren't orange and white. Either way, IMO, I think the Smokey Grey's are fine. I'm not a fan of them for football, but I think they make for a cool baseball uniform.
