Work across the bag towards the 3b or stay backside with example. He kept his foot on the top of the bag which got it hit. If the runner hits him that's interference.

He was coming across the bag. My eyes aren’t good enough using this video feed to see his exact placement. But I think he was going to get clipped even if his foot was on the front of the bag.
