What helps us most to get a #1 seed, a Florida win or a Bama win? Logic says a Bama win, then a Bama loss to Auburn on Saturday (obviously paired with two Vol wins), but I'm not sure.
Given Florida plays ole miss at home to close out we want Florida to lose today. Doses 2-0 Florida this week help vols more than 2-0 bama this week? Sure but would rather both be 1-1

I will be there, behind enemy lines! Got myself invited for a seminar visit tomorrow scheduled around the game.
Working on another degree... looking for a project co-author... or just another inter-faculty wink-and-nod-break? :)

Have an admired friend who used to be head of the Math Dept in Oxford. They loved it there. Went on the even bigger and better things in the cause of education.

Agreed. I don't feel good about this game. No one has talked about it at all. The comedown from the Bama game seems to have dragged on. I hope the team isn't feeling the same thing. This just feels like a game we historically lose.
One thing I do like: we beat Alabama on effort and execution by someone we don't normally depend on for scoring. That means everyone else comes to this game feeling the need to contribute more than they did Saturday.

Who knows... maybe Ole Miss will even decide they need to play tighter on 'Shack, providing ZZ and Gainey with an extra second to dish or shoot when they penetrate the lane.

I have a former PhD student who is now a faculty member at Ole Miss. We all have weekly seminar series featuring external speakers. She said she’d invite me, and I said cool, let’s schedule it when the basketVols are in town! 😎

Mashack scoring a few more points has a huge, positive residual affect for the entire offense

Yep. It’s all right there for us.
If we lose this game, we don’t deserve the one seed. Win it, and we do. Go Vols!
Gonna take more than just a win tonight. I think we need to win out in the regular season and 2 in the SECT. Even that might not be enough depending on what happens with Bama and UF. They're looking for a reason to keep us from being a 1 seed.

I’m all for welcoming anyone anywhere but man this board is just a place for you to spew negative s*** 24/7. I get it sometimes but you’ve beat all I’ve ever seen. Give it a break for all of us. Thanks

Flordia loses tonight and we win out reg season, it's ours. Problem is, I'm not so sure Flordia loses tonight.

I didn’t realize Florida was 20-0 when leading after half.. this might be a toss up after all
Probably going to be like our game with them and down to the wire. I have a feeling Bama gets a little home cooking from the refs if that's the case. I guarantee one thing, if it's close at the end this time the ball will be in Sears hands.
