Florida’s win over Alabama put Florida in control tonight. Florida would have jumped us, even if we won.

No one said it is but all losses are not equal. It has nothing to do with justifying anything; it’s just facts.

I ask again how did that loss affect Auburn? They are still the overall #1 seed. It had zero effect on the conference because they already have that wrapped up.

Now how did our loss affect us? Knocked us of the #1 seed and put UF back in the driver’s seat.

You can say it’s not a big deal and maybe it ends up not being so, but that’s a different discussion.

My only criticism is basically one I have a lot of him.....take the TO before you lose a several point lead and the other team gets the lead.
Got to nip momentum like that in the bud and get a quality shot to stop the run.
The rest/majority of the loss I put on the players that didn't execute when they had to.

Barnes did call a TO in one of the leads we lost and it didn’t do much good.

For whatever reason tonight several times we got 7+ point leads and for 2 of them we had chances to push the lead and we just stopped scoring. We would get sloppy with the ball, fire off 3 pointers, and just like that the lead would be gone.

Not sure we fall to a 3 seed unless we lose to SCjr and get an early exit from the SECT. While possible, it's not likely. Then again this is UT and Barnes in March. Nothing would surprise me except, perhaps, UT finally walking through that proverbial open door of opportunity. This is a gritty bunch of over achievers. They've given us a great year and exceeded expectations. Be honest tho. They really aren't that talented. Barnes did more with less, but now it's March and the cream rises to the top. The sweet 16 would be a great achievement for this year's team.

We will end up a 2 seed . . . Unless we lose the USC game and lose in the first round of the SEC tournament. Even if that happens, I think we end up a 2 seed. Last night’s loss probably means we are a 2 seed no matter what. Many predicted 12-6 for us this year . . . And that looks like where we end up.

This team is not overly talented. Coach Barnes has gotten a lot out of them this year. We are essentially playing 4 on 5 or sometimes 3 on 5 (Igor disappears a lot) on the offensive end.

Sweet 16 team? Yes.

Beyond that it’s all about matchups. Blowing a chance at a 1 seed makes advancing to a final 4 more unlikely.

No way a three seed. Igor has been sick and he came through for us several times. Just sad.

Looking at the stats, TN shot decent percentages to win: FG(46.3%) / 3pt(38.7%) / FT(82.4%). Issue stats are ZZ 8pts but his 15asts kind of explains the low points and being outrebounded on the OB 15-8. Second chance points made the difference in a tight game. I am of the opinion TN still hangs on to a 2 seed barring a first round loss in the SEC tourney.

If we loose to South Carolina and first game of SEC Tournament, we could drop to the 3 line. I don’t think that will happen though. We probably deserve a 2 seed, no worse or no better.
