I took my son to the game last night and he's not much a baseball person. He asked me before the game, "How do you beat a good team like Arkansas?"

What I told him last night proved costly last night and it's happening again.

#1 Take advantage of all scoring opportunities. You can't leave runs on the bases.

#2. Have to limit errors and no unnecessary mistakes.

#3. Someone has to get a big hit or two.

#4. Compete all 9 innings.

It is a well coached talented team. They don't panic and there is no moment too big for any of their pitchers. A team that refuses to lose is hard to. beat. Vols are very good and want to win but Arkansas is a little better and they expect to win.

Yesterday had nothing to do with playing scared with a lead. We pounded the ball. They made a couple of great plays, and a couple needed 6 feet here or there.,
