I’m very curious about how Texas will try to defend Uros. If he’s getting entry passes deep into the lane and they don’t do much to help with double teams, he will feast offensively. If they do help and double down, he’s become pretty adept at passing back out to the open man.
Kentucky was willing to allow Plav to have whatever he wanted 1-1and it resulted in a L, would t surprise me if they tried that approach when he’s in and then try to attack him on the other end.

Yeah, we lost but Plavsic was 9-11 from the field, which I’ll take every day.

Not if he puts the ball on the floor. When he decides he is going to shoot, the defense will collapse and steal the ball unless he shoots quickly. They will also to get him to commit offensive fouls if he tries to bull his way to the basket. Awake might have a good game if he -lays enough.

You really haven’t watched closely the last 4-5 games. If you have, then we just see things differently.

I feel like our guards can play better than theirs. Their big man Disu is pretty athletic and I'm interested to see how we defend him and keep him off the boards. Can't wait to see the game. Let's go vols!

He did his part for sure, but the issue was that’s what we were diminished to, and we aren’t gonna be near our best if that’s the case…Calipari literally said postgame that was their game plan.

Oh, yes, I know. Had we hit 3-4 more threes though, it makes us more than one-dimensional. My take is if they double Uros and he kicks it outside we get beat by 15 because we just weren’t hitting. I can’t ever see a scenario where 9-11 is a negative.

Should be a great game. We shall see what our home court fans can do to give us an edge. I am most concerned with the officiating. In the UCONN game and so many others, officiating changed the game. I just hope the refs keep the fouls balanced and do not use their power to put a lot of quick fouls on Uros and Santi while laying off Texas. Refs need to have a talk with coaches before the game and get an understanding of what is and is not going to be a foul today because that is not as clear as you think. GBO! Beat Texas by a lot!

Currently sitting at Cahaba Brewing in Birmingham watching the Alabama game with some friends. It’s truly a glorious feeling to be enjoying a cold beer while watching the Bammers in here losing their sh*t because they suddenly care about basketball and are getting whipped at the moment.
