The Official #4 Tennessee vs #15 Kentucky Game Thread, Saturday 4:00 PM EST/CBS

Honestly that came down to them hitting & we didn’t.

Love this team still fighting until the last second when this game really didn’t matter or hurt us.

Great effort. No shame losing, tonight. Still SEC champs.

The loss hurts as a fan as I feel for the seniors. Maybe this loss will remind them that every possession counts in March, including making foul shots.

It is going to haunt me the rest of the night that we had a chance to tie with 21 seconds left and Dalton Knecht never touched the ball and we took the shot with 10 seconds left instead of waiting to get Knecht a touch.
I mean he got shoved to the ground with no call. Go back and watch. Sheppard put a forearm into his back

Bad prep and only playing at 90% for most of the game cost us this one. Not gonna let it get me down in celebrating our outright SEC championship. Disappointing nonetheless.

Kentucky had to play out of their minds to beat us.... After the gauntlet we just went through. I like our odds in a rematch in the tourny. They won't play that perfect against us again.

The only thing I care about next week if we get another shot for revenge

My primary reason for wanting a one seed is to avoid playing Duke. We won’t have the matchups until next Sunday, but every mock bracket has them in our bracket.
Duke doesn’t scare me. If they win tonight they’ll be a 2-seed anyway, so it would be irrelevant.

The mock brackets on Bracket Matrix don’t set regions, anyway, just the consensus S-curve.

I still think we get the #1 in the West, with Arizona as the 2, and Baylor or Kansas as the 3.

Pround of the effort and the comback. That's a Final Four type atmosphere. Just didn't have enough today against a hot-shooting opponent. .
