Exactly, I think we struggle offensively due to that. I love zz competitive spirit but offensively the ball sticks too much.Man… I love ZZ, but sometimes the ball gets a little sticky to his hands. Offensive movement struggles sometimes with him just dribbling. But great win over top 15.. I’ll take a W any way we can get one!
With 4 minutes to go we were trying to run clock and they just wouldn’t allow it, fouling us after they couldn’t get a steal. On the other end, they just put their head down and ran straight at anyone in a white jersey near the basket, totally out of control. Refs gave it to them every time. I’m not sure how to defend a guy who runs straight at you and jumps into you while you stand with your arms in the air.Well, that was an odd game. Good win as we needed to hold serve at home. Showed mature poise when we were behind, but when we got a double digit lead it's like we forgot how to play again. Our poor offensive execution with 4 minutes to go in the game and propensity to foul them and allow them to stay in the game was not good basketball. Glad for the "W" but playing like that in the final minutes of a game often gets you beat in March. Need to be road warriors over next few weeks as 4 of the next 5 games are away.

Finding single game stats from then is harder than I thought but based on averages I’d have to guess Brandon Wharton and Tony Harris. They were 1 and 2 for points and assistants on the team for both the 97-98 season and 98-99 seasons, but couldn’t find the single game stats.Wonder who the two were in 1998?
There are a number of folks on here who can’t remember that basketball is a 40 minute game and not 20. And on the officiating, I got 2 words for you- Doug Shows. That’s all you need to know.Just finished watching. Missed layups & a few free throws plus some really bad officiating kept the game closer than it should have been in the second half.
Great win against a really good team. Basketball is a 40 minute game and can flip in a minute - literally. If you give up in the first half, might want to find another sport to follow.
Go Vols!
