Reality check - Kentucky is a heck of a lot better than Lipscomb!

Every team in the SEC (even Missouri) is better than Lipscomb, but that hasn't prevented Tennessee from winning all but one series. Midweek losses suck, I agree, though they don't weigh nearly as heavily as conference games.

Go 2-1 against Kentucky this weekend and Tennessee will stay put in the rankings.

These guys need to go at least 5-1 over the next 2 weekends to be where they want to be in regards to hosting a regional/Super. 0-6 over the last 2 weekends isn't out of the realm of possibility, especially given they've shown they can lay an egg with the best/worst of them.

4-2 with two series wins keeps Tennessee squarely in the Super Regional discussion, so by no means do the Vols need to go "at least" 5-1 to "be where they want to be" for hosting games in Knoxville.
