I just don’t see how you can watch the sport and not get how hard road games are. I mean, we got drilled @aTm who turned around and lost @Vandy who we dismantled when they came to Knoxville the next week.Yup. You’re bound to have multiple dreadful shooting nights throughout such a long season. The key is finding a way to win on those nights. Great win tonight, even if we played horrible for 25 minutes.
And read mine big guy. I said East lowers his shoulder and nothing is called. You said why are we swatting. And it’s not swatting at the ball if it’s not called. Dish out, then be prepared to get it back. Plain and simple. While you are tracing back through the posts. Check out the other posters who have said the same as myself.I asked WTH are we starting at the ball. That isn’t blaming the refs. It was our defense. Go back and read the post.
Don’t care about the margin. The W is all that matters on the road. Burn the tape and hope your starters play better Saturday. That simple.
He played well and went hard at the rim. He had his shot blocked but got the rebound and went back up, again. He was fouled and then made both from the line.
Big bad UCONN - the favorite to repeat - is getting beat by double digits at a very tough place to play.I just don’t see how you can watch the sport and not get how hard road games are. Awaka might be my favorite guy this year. When he comes off the bench you know he’s in the game. He’s a difference maker. I hope he’s getting more PT come March.
I hope Barnes will let him play through foul trouble. Seems like that’s what he did tonight. Awaka is foul prone, but to me he’s too impactful to sit him for most of the game after he picks up two fouls.
Playing on the road is incredibly difficult and some posters still refuse to believe that.
Mind boggling.
I honestly don’t think it’s been Tobe getting in foul trouble as much he was just making really bad fouls at inopportune times.I hope Barnes will let him play through foul trouble.
