You can’t blame baserunner. You have to be aggressive with 2 outs and 2 strikes. Any mishandle allows you to get to second. Catcher essentially picked ball behind the batter. Just a great play.

Not a bad loss, we’re on the road, but that’s twice now we’ve called Kirby out there early, I dunno about that strategy and we had 2 errors tonight, we can’t afford them.

Our goal is still attainable, win the series and all is good. Are we really to the point where we’re unhappy unless it’s a sweep? Yeah, we let one get away but I’m not going to be upset before I see tomorrow’s results.
We still haven’t hit double digit losses yet, we’ll be ok and take the series tomorrow.

The Aggies won the third game against Arky last weekend. Anyone can be beaten, Still disappointed though because they couldn't capitalize and had a bad 7th inning. I still have faith that our fellas will battle tomorrow in the rubber match. They have to learn to keep the foot on the gas pedal in the middle of the game. Hope to bounce back and get the series win tomorrow.

That’s a good way to look at it. I just hope our pitching and Blade more especially have a good outing. It has really struggled the past few Sundays. That’s my main concern.

I wouldn’t say it worked. I’d say it lost game 2 because he wasn’t available. At 6-1 I think you have to go with another arm for at least the 8th inning so he isn’t burned for game 2. If that arm falters bring him in quickly but a 6-1 lead with 6 outs and a full bullpen should have been easy without burning anyone
