Vols should win tomorrow
But winning 9-8 won’t be what I think is most important about tomorrow. Tidwell needs to pitch well
He also has the ability to wreck havoc on the base paths and distract pitchers. Unfortunately he is Willie McGee and no body wants that type of player any more. That being said he should be higher on MLB lists because the stolen base would be a better weapon if the losers with the Calculators were not making decisions and turned MLB into a snooze fest of 3 outcome baseball (out, walk, HR). I miss this type of player at the top of a lineup.2 tool guy, speed and avg. His avg won’t play as well at the next level because he has mostly ground ball hits. Infielders at the next level have great gloves and rocket arms. No power and noodle arm so he isn’t high on MLB boards.
No disagreement there but we’re gonna need more than Tidwell to give us 5 or 6, then what...we haven’t had a dependable answer for that one pretty much all year and what happened today ain’t a confidence builder,
MSU takes down VU.
Don't understand why Vitello stuck so long with Connell in the 7th tonight.Hunley will be available tomorrow along with Walsh, Pleasants, Housley, and possibly McLaughlin and Sewell.
McLaughlin - 23 pitches
Sewell - 19 pitches
We will be fine if Tidwell can give us 5 or 6 and the offense gives us 5 or 6 runs.

According to the MLB Draft link below, Ferguson and Pavolony are not in the Top 150 prospects any longer. Signees Chase Burns and Brady House are in the top 20 though.2nd round projections as of now. That’s pretty damn high.

We never established a draft year, you said high draft prospects. The guy you said is a freshman so what are you talking about?
Well when a kid is a draft eligible Age and you are pushing their draft year back a year so they can figure it out I think that clearly makes my point that those guys aren’t elite prospects
Tidwell will be a elite draft prospect the year he becomes eligible. Let’s hope to the same level at Rocker and leiter but these guys you are mentioning that haven’t figured it out yet and need more years don’t belong in the same conversation sorry
