Well I guess you could say that about any good play - "lucky the defender wasn't quicker/taller/stronger or the play wouldn't be made". Dang, is it so hard to admit that a player not wearing orange made a great play?

Great post, but not quite understanding how you could quantify, "no better than 10-15". Are you following the top 10-15 teams? Not necessarily watching complete games, but following results and post game highlights/analysis? We've played 5 top 15 teams. We lost close games to the actual favorite in the game. We've certainly struggled but so has everyone we've played and all other ranked teams. We just absolutely obliterated Ole Miss, who was ranked and rightly so. They've played a much easier schedule but did beat 16th ranked Memphis and beat NC State much worse than we beat them. Again, not sure how you can evaluate them so confidently given how the rest of the field has performed

Based on our play the last few games, we are absolutely Top 5. We dismantled a very experienced and talented team Saturday and played an exceptionally good game against an outclassed team January 2nd. Barnes thought the same. However, my opinion is just my opinion.

This team has it all but these group clanging parties will not get them to a championship or the final 4. It's a unique problem that so many players can be cold at the same time. 1-14 gee, just go 5-14 last night in the first half and they win this game by 20 points. So many of those misses turned into fast break points for MSU. They are all great shooters and they took open shots, so over my head to explain. The comeback was impressive in any case.
