Got to be honest here I didn’t think the Vols were going to win this game at the 1:00 mark -.was hoping that the Vols could somehow get to OT.

But man what a sensational and fantastic play by Mashack when it mattered most - draining the longggg 3-ball!

He also finished the last 1:30 strong on offense and defense.

Thank you Mashack, thank you!!!

You deserve this young man - savor it.

I may be wrong, but I think everytime KY has lost this year we have won. Things trending in our favor today!

Mashack was definitely clutch in the last 30 seconds. Beats guy who doesn’t block out, makes 2 big FTs, ties up on other end for a jump ball and hits a 35 footer. Our lack of execution otherwise in the last 4 minutes was not good.

Mashack gets knocked because he doesn't play a pretty game but that's not why he's so valuable. Stats can't measure what he means to a team and that's what is so different about sports

He needs to shoot more IMO

Mashack is a great defensive player. If there is any knock on his offense it is his turning down shots because he is a 35 percent three point shooter this season. He also makes a high percentage at the line. Sometimes he should shoot the ball and doesn't that is what I see more than anything else about his offense. He has some good stats.

Lanier’s 3 point play was huge!

Very true, it was just frustrating to see him not doing what Sears was the last several minutes but kudos to the kid. He came through. The whole team did. Amazing win. I thought it was over when we fouled them down 3 with about 30 seconds left.

I’m at my MIL’s birthday 98th party also and fortunately the TV is on. The entire party jumped up cheering with the win.
