The Official #5 Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt Game Thread, 1:00 PM ET, SEC Network

How a team can shoot so poorly on its own home floor is a mystery to me.

Issue hasn't been our offense, it has been our defense and how easy we have made it for Vandy to score on us. Yeah, this is the worse I have seen Tennessee play all year. Let's see if they can rally, still a full half left.

How a team can shoot so poorly on its own home floor is a mystery to me.

What's even more baffling is how we can shoot lights out one day then can't even hit a free throw the next. I get that guys have off days but it's been this way for years and it's why we'll be lucky to make it through the 2nd round of the tournament.

We don’t appear to have anyone who can drive and finish at the rim. Our offense relies too heavily on outside shooting and mid range pull up jumpers.

Wow! Vols are the home team and Vandy is putting it to us. There is nothing that has happened so far giving me hope that the 2nd half will be any better!

It’s our confidence to take a shot that hurts. That comes from freedom of shot. We simply don’t shoot sometimes because they think there going to be pulled or yelled at.

He is getting out coached be neither Pope or Byingtion are first year head coaches. Byington has been a head coach since 2013 and Pope since 2015, that aren’t some fresh inexperienced guys.
that’s not what i meant. i meant it as they are both first year coaches in the sec with no so much of the track record of rick barnes, and barnes has got torched by both of them.

Rough game for sure. Nothing works. 24-38... we are making Vandy look top ten and Vandy making us look bottom ten. We gotta snap out of this or short tourneys.

Not to mention they threw their teams together before the season.
