I felt better at halftime against Creighton than I do today. I felt we gave them an early knockout punch that Purdue answered with free throws/ogre dude.

I doubt Purdue is cold another half at the perimeter. We simply aren't getting any offense inside the paint and not hitting enough jump shots to force Edey to come out. Hopefully Barnes has something up his sleeve for this 2nd half..

No reason we should be trailing in this game. Purdue was ice cold from 3 pt range. Had a chance to pour it on when we went up 11 and failed to do so which is what will most likely cost us this game. Purdue isn’t likely to have another half of poor outside shooting.

Think we’re going to have to be willing to let Tobe play through foul trouble in the second half. Things went well for us when he was in the game. Need him to play big second half minutes. Also need ZZ to do a better job of guarding Smith. He’s hurt us with his dribble penetration.

We missed 6 wide open shots and a free throw during that run. As simple as that. Aidoo has to be able to hit 8-10footer, ZZ has to make open shots and FT’s.

I would have pregame but not after seeing an 11pt lead. Frustrating

Pregame, I really did not think we'd have a shot. Even though the last few minutes sucked, we played some of the best bball I've seen against a really tough matchup. If Purdue runs ahead to start the half, I will probably be frustrated as well.

Aidoo needs to knock down the jumpers he has made basically all season.

I will say this though Braden Smith is hell on the Pick-N-Roll play.

Barnes spent so much time trying to build him after Maui and it just didn’t work. Barnes might have been better off trying to get JP more experience.

Chuck was 1000% right. If we lose it's because of that horrendous last 5 minutes. Can't do that against a team as good as Purdue.
