I felt better at halftime against Creighton than I do today. I felt we gave them an early knockout punch that Purdue answered with free throws/ogre dude.

I doubt Purdue is cold another half at the perimeter. We simply aren't getting any offense inside the paint and not hitting enough jump shots to force Edey to come out. Hopefully Barnes has something up his sleeve for this 2nd half..

I know Edey is a good shot blocker, but good gracious, take it inside and at least try to get him in foul trouble.

Best thing Vescovi could do is sit back on the bench. He is a non factor and has been all season. Gainey and mashack should get his minutes. Even Carr would be a better option.

We missed 6 wide open shots and a free throw during that run. As simple as that. Aidoo has to be able to hit 8-10footer, ZZ has to make open shots and FT’s.

Aidoo can’t be counted on today. He just doesn’t have it and hasn’t since the Texas game. Our guards are going to have to knock down jump shots at a really good clip because inside offense isn’t there today.

DK is great but he seems to lose the ball a lot on driving and gets it knocked away; we can't have cheap turnovers like that.

ZZ is way off on wide open shots, I'm not sure why but he has a tendency to shoot it short a lot.

We need everyone playing their A game the last 20 minutes.

I don’t really know what to do in the 2nd half. Feels like we have to somehow shoot even better from 3 to win, which feels statistically unlikely. Purdue is going to start hitting some 3’s.

We need something inside, ANYTHING, but Aidoo looks lost.

Aidoo sucks, he dominates if we are on a Mid Major but other than that, he looks like he's moving through broken glass. He knew the projection today, to not at least show effort is ridiculous

I’d keep him and Santi in the bench.

Go with ZZ, Awaka, Knecht, JJJ, and Mashack. Then let Gainey sub in for the guards and Aidoo for a few min when Edey comes out.

Mashack and Awaka MUST stay out of foul trouble. Let Edey get his. He had about 8-10
from foul line. Stop fouling.

Hell yes I’m serious - just watch. We are better than Purdue. We just had an absolutely horrible stretch - and survived it. AND we are getting a decent whistle despite the gnashing on here- Purdue gonna start panicking and blow up. Our depth is going to help too.
AND- we are going to be shooting on our end of the floor - this is going to help too.
