The Official #6 Tennessee @ Vanderbilt Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, SEC Network

Undeniable at this point. Lost to a very mediocre UF team. Looked awful at home against Auburn. Inexplicably found a way to lose to a very mediocre Vandy team.

This team - as has been the case for a few years now - is not good on offense. They have no go to player on offense.

JJJ injury hurts.

Vescovi may be playing the way he is due to a shoulder problem.

This team is WAY overrated at the moment.

Losses at UK and Auburn look very likely. Bama’s offense will run this team out of the gym.

Interesting, I told my wife the refs gave them .1 or .2 extra seconds time over what it looked like... .2 might have made the shot late, but, man, that no dunk by JP hurt

Uh yes? They just went to Omaha in ‘21 and were one bad inning away from doing the same last year. You live under a rock?
They went out with a whimper in the CWS 2 years ago and didn't even make the CWS last year after perhaps the most dominating regular season in CBB history.

There’s at least four more losses in that schedule between now and the tournament. Bama should be a 15 point favorite and cover easily.

Barnes got out coached tonight, playing Fulmer ball, playing not to lose, we will watch these stupid highlights the rest of the week, blew a 2 point lead with 14 seconds left without taking a shot, if Phillips makes the layup the game is over, two possession game, but when you play not to lose, you usually do

Perhaps a quick look at what the rest of the season will look like, just embarrassing, probably the most poorly coached game by Barnes since he has been here, snatching defeat from the hands of victory to a mediocre Vanderbilt team, the defense vanished when it mattered most

Vandy is playing its National Championship game tonight on its home floor. Of course their playing out of their heads. Robbins was not this possessed against BAMA last week.

If you didn’t expect this, you don’t realize what Tennesseehate Vandies have. It’s never gonna be easy in there.

How do you blame Phillips there? He's a freshman in that blatant homecourt advantage they call that trash heap in Nashville. Vescovi missed the front end to tie and eventually ice it. At least that wasn't some fluke ass shot like the bulk of their threes.

Officiating is out of control. Idk the last time we had a favorable FTA deficit.

Going up 4 with 15 seconds left or so is much better than dribbling and running time to get to free throw line shooting 1 and 1. Do i think other players would have done the same? No. Do i think that was an inexperience move? Yes. Big learning moment for Phillips.

THIS is why the fans haven’t bought into this teams hype like analytics have created. This team is not elite. No elite players. No offensive identity. Last years squad 20 balls this team.
Nobody really wants the ball late. They gave Awaka the ball twice in crucial moments.

Why won’t they show the replay of the last shot with the shot clock and hands of the shooter
