Florida and Tennessee have had a lot of individuals that have worked at both universities including Bob Woodruff and Don DeVoe and John Sines and Doug Dickey and Joe DiPietro.

Basketball is the only major sport that we have beaten Florida at with consistententcy as we beat Billy Donovan regularly under coaches like Martin and Pearl.

Alligator Alley was a terrific road venue for Tennessee to travel to and play in. I do not remember very many victories happening when we played there.

I was born in Winter Park, Florida and pull for the Gators to win every time except when they play Tennessee.

Two things to keep an eye on.

1. Florida is the #1 rebounding team in the country, especially on the offensive end. They average 45 rebounds a game and 17 offensive rebounds a game. They have multiple games with 20+ offensive rebounds.

2. Florida averages just under 14 turnovers per game (268th in the country) and is 298th in the country in turnover margin.

If we force them to jumpers and keep them in check on the boards, I believe our defense will create a lot of offense in this game. I believe this is why we’re seeing a high total at nearly 160 points. I believe we are able to score the ball in this one and create a rhythm but we can’t allow UF to stay in the game by racking up 15-20+ offensive boards and cashing in on 2nd chance points.

All we have to do to win the game is MAKE MORE SHOTS/SCORE MORE POINTS than they do. Got my fingers crossed we score more points tonight. Go Vols!

Gotta defend home court. We’re the Orangest blue blood in the country right now so gonna get everybody’s best game on the road. Gotta hold serve at home.

I hope that @Freak is getting the game recorded. I might not be able to watch it live with my Xfinity technical issues. Currently ESPN2 is showing the same thing as ESPN on my TV. Hoping it’s because the NFL Live program schedule for 5 on ESPN2 has been moved up.

Really need a win tonight for my sanity. We didn’t play great basketball last week so you would hope that means we’re due a good game.
