Still can’t believe that Banks all but refused to dial up the pressure on Beck. Also, Heupel’s offensive play calling is pedestrian - his oline is soft - his receivers are average - the entire team lacks discipline.

These are not the things of championship programs. Played this game with no sense of urgency. What a shame.

I will answer that.......not at all. If anything, they have regressed. It's absolutely insane the number of drops this team has had in Heupel's tenure and it's only gotten worse every year. It's like they don't know what a JUGS machine is........

TN got outplayed and outcoached in every aspect of the game by a not great GA team. Bobo outcoached Banks and Bobo isn’t a very good coordinator. Vols are mid.

You want to beat people up bc they are arrogant about their CFB team? Why? Most people don’t know how to fist fight. Do you really want to beat on people that have no clue how to defend themselves? I mean seriously, GA fans are far from the first to be arrogant or talk shite. I seem to remember a few TN fans being a bit arrogant not more than a few hours ago, and countless during the 90’s.

Watching some of the highlights and scratching my head. On the blown coverage when they scored with the unbalanced line we had a lost freshman db in there, Farooq. I’m all for getting guys reps but in critical games in critical situations I would prefer having more experience in there. Then the typical stuff where guys are in position and don’t make plays and then other times where they’re totally lost.

I’m a lot less sad Tennessee kept this high stakes game watchable and close even though the result is very disappointing.

Also, because Tennessee still remains alive for the 12 team playoff even thorough they aren’t in iïuuh

I would agree it just makes more sense for experienced guys to be playing instead of rely on a freshman getting reps.
I favor players getting reps except not when it’s a game that is competitive.

Coach Smart continues to be Vince Lombardi or Coach Saban because Tennessee prospered in the 1st half, in the second half with adjustments Georgia dominated completely because they succeeded shutting out Tennessee, Beck continues to be a Tim Tebow since he played entirely smoothly , and Georgia scored 14 points in the second half.

I’d say a 45–13 beatdown of LSU at night in Death Valley eight days ago is more impressive than anything we’ve done on the road. Same for a 42-10 road win at Wisconsin.

Tell of two halves.
It's been Tennessee all season. I think we've been fortunate to only have two losses. I never felt Tennessee was an elite team and was ranked too high. Realistically a #12 team.
Let's finish out the season strong, beat UTEP and vandy and let the chips fall where they may.

Our UT team's record is better than what we have played all year. First half woes all year (second half for GA.). Struggled against Oky. (1-5 SEC : 5-5 overall. Lost to Arky. (3-4 SEC : 5-5 overall)!
Seems like we have struggled all year even at home. Road record is now 1-2. Defense kept us in a game all year (not GA.) .Only team we have
beat all year with a winning record is Bama. Kirby beat JH in 2022 and we had the highest scoring offense in the SEC. Not sure we belong in the playoff picture,

IMO, we don't belong in the playoffs. Earlier in the year, I had hopes that our OL and WR group would become more reliable and help Nico progress. As the games went by, I became less and less optimistic. We are what we are...and a playoff team ain't it.

What I want to know is why did they call defensive holding on a RUSHING play? Is it because it was the QB rushing? He was already beyond the LOS, so he wasn't looking to pass.

Haha or maybe the stave joint.. they are so close to being the sec prize again but no said in a different post earlier their is a lingering bad energy that has been on this team since 2001 and no matter the coaches, players, or culture this funk always shows its head.
