I’m disappointed in how we played last night save the first quarter. This team has shown us who they are all year. They are good but not great. Penalties, lack of explosive plays, great running game, solid defense. You have to be balanced to beat teams like UGA.

That being said we are absolutely one of the top 12 teams in the country. Will we win it all? Not likely but we deserve the chance over the schools who play no one all year.

That darn AK loss is going to kill us.

Lol, it’s cool VolRage. Just like every fan base, GA does have some idiots in the pack. Maybe more with all the fair weather fans we seem to have picked up since 2021. I finally moved back to south GA and I could swear that tons of the GA fans around here were lifelong FSU fans when I was growing up.

Also, I get very upset when my team has a rough day as well and when a few questionable calls go against them it makes it worse. It happened to us against Bama in last years SEC Championship game.

Still mad this morning about the two calls that "gifted" UGA their 7 points along with the allowing the holds.

I get it - Georgia is the "darling" team - the SEC was NOT going to allow them to be out of the playoff picture - but those bogus calls where the turning point. If you are a player, why even bother after that point.

The refs destroyed what was set to be a classic game.

Would love to see karma with Ga Tech taking down Georgia.

Can confirm. I was in H.S. in south GA in the late 90s up until 2001. Around the time of the 98 NCG the school was infested with garnet and gold (along with a handful of red/black and orange/blue holdouts, and then me and a friend in our orange and white). Fast forward to the 10-year reunion, and there was enough crimson and cream to make one vomit, proudly on display by the former Criminole "fans". Didn't make the last class reunion, but I'd imagine quite a few have added red and black to their wardrobes nowadays.

Their competition since losing to Tennessee has gone down considerably. LSU and Missouri are not what folks thought they would be and then there is Mercer.

I saw a video once of an old Dawg fan in Neyland Stadium being taunted and verbally abused. He had to be at least 65 years old and had about 3 Vol fans surrounding him. You could tell he was very scared. No one helped that guy and I found that disgusting and just as I have defended many opposing fans at a game, I would’ve defended him had I’d been there. I don’t like that stuff.
