Purdue is extremely good. They are for sure top 5. Tennessees defense is truly legit. This was one of the most solid defensive efforts I've seen. We literally took away their half court sets. You can't create motion and switches to get matchups with this defense. The guys coming out to guard the perimeter can switch without a drop off. Purdue has a ton of weapons that we shutdown tonight. This is probably the best defensive team we'll ever see in Knoxville.

Dude my original post wasn’t even about you, it was a general statement about the moronic overreactions from people who are already writing off the season over a damn war of a game in November with a Top 2 team. People who literally never post unless it’s an opportunity to jump on a negative situation. If the shoe fits wear it, otherwise carry on.

I don't agree. Purdue and Tennessee both have elite defenses. Purdue is more one dimensional than Tennessee though. Tennessee can win a lot of ways. Purdue is more built going inside to out.

Both will rack up regular season wins and that seeding will be closer to two than five but I think you are right. At some point you run into a team making shots and you go home.

Z may not be back on offense all the way, but his defense was incredible. I am glad to see that with that horrible injury last year.

Tennessee has probably top 3 highest ceilings of college basketball. I’m not worried about this team and early season loss. Tennessee has yet to even sniff clicking fully yet on offense and they are still scoring more then usual past. Defense will always be elite with Barnes. Won’t be questioned.
