The Official #7 Tennessee vs. Alabama Game Thread, 6:00 PM ET, ESPN2

Just god awful. Literally could lose to anyone else and I wouldn't care as much smfh

Welp...that was a forgettable half of basketball. Something seems to happen to the orange when they see red.

This game is mostly on us, specifically the offense end, but that last possession was freaking completely pathetic by the refs. #3 pushed off Bailey with both arms on the screen and elbowed him twice in back while they were under the basket. All the while with a ref on the baseline right in front of it.

The problem I have is they don’t reward good defense. They called a couple of fouls on us when we didn’t initiate the contact.

Hopefully Springer is okay and we can get some minutes out of Pons and Vescovi there. We had poor effort at times. When you combine that with officials having a really really bad night, missing very very obvious calls, it hurts. A close game means the refs have an outsized presence. Alabama has about 8 points directly off really bad calls. They should have stopped the game on one of those Petty elbows to check if it was a flagrant and the refs didn't even call a foul.

Need to get it together on the offensive end. Missed pons/springer and Santi for a lot of the half. Should get better once pons and santi get back. Hopefully springer is ok.

Refs are trash. Still not sure how the refs missed that travel call halfway through the half . That would’ve been called in 5 year old church league
