Barnes will light a fire under them during the half and they will come out like gang busters. Our shots will eventually go in and Alabama can’t hit the broad side of a barn. I think we take control and win by about 15 points.

Pember got the ball a couple times in position to score but couldn't handle it to even get a shot off. Then he proceeded to defend like a revolving door. That's basically the synopsis of his career. He hasn't got much right now that indicates he is a P5 level player. Maybe he can get there, I don't see how though.

As poorly as we shot the ball, we have to give credit to Alabama. They've come in with a great defensive gameplan and have been executing it well.

That said, I expect Barnes to make the necessary adjustments during halftime. Emphasis should be on finding a way to get the floor spaced with room to drive to the lane. So far, Bama has been crowding paint. We've got to find a way to space them out.

The thing about the coach getting a T, it sometimes fires the team up and gets the refs' attention. And other times it can hurt the team. The second half may tell, but we were winning before the T.

At the game and it was a complete BS call. Barnes was arguing with the ref just past our huddle at our end of the court. The ref that called the T was under the opposite basket, at least 45 ft away and not even hearing what was said. Walked toward mid-court and called the T. Limited crowd lost their minds then.

Buddy at the game texted and said Barnes got another technical on way to locker room at half? Hopefully he’s wrong.

Barnes has been on the rules committee, which only has like 3-4 D1 coaches. He should get respect.
