That's classless on our part.

Heupel takes what the defense gives us. They have us 20-25yds on the kickoff which invites the onside kick.

Should Heupel not take the holes in the defense? That's EXACTLY what his entire scheme is based on.

All of the people crying about that kick have never played an organized sport or are just soft. Game reps matter. A winning culture matters. The hard nosed junkyard dog mentality matters. This is what Heup is building and you’re crying about it like it’s the fourth quarter and we just scored 90. I bet you guys were real happy a few years ago when no one was taking mercy on our garbage teams.

IIRC UT played UTEP around 1990 had 4 scores, and pulled all starters after the first quarter.

Bob just said we broke a record, was 5 scores vs Arkansas.

37 points most in any quarter in TN history.

Arkansas must have been horrid that year. This is a bad MAC team, to me 35 on an SEC team (even if it is bad) is still more impressive.

Opponents will hate Heupel for the onside kick, but its a unique mindset to not give a f*** and just step on everyone's throat. The mindset truckles down to the players..

It does and confidence is good, but it pisses off and embarrasses the other players.
The bean ball comes to mind and I don’t want to see some jacked up punk taking shots at our guy’s knees
