The Official #7 Tennessee vs. Kent State Game Thread, 7:45 PM ET, SEC Network

This is a thing of beauty. I don't know how this year finishes but I'm just blown away that we have a team that can do this. I became a vol fan in the early 2000s, just a little bit before our really bad run. I never knew I would get to watch a team this good.

This game is definitely a message for OK next week

It sucks that Kent St. got caught up in it, but at least they're getting paid for the privilege

I love the ass whipping we are giving. God knows we have taken a few. I just hope we can play like this for the next 2 months!

Did yall hear what the commentators just said? They put the stat up too... 37 is a program record for points in a quarter! It may seem classless and unsportsmanlike, but what if we break the record of 104 in 1905 for most scored in a game. Hell, why not?

I don’t care so much about the look as much as now it’s on tape to prepare for.

I want UT to be intimidating.
I think scoring 37 points in the 1st quarter with your opponent at minus net-yards offensively is intimidating enough.
Totally uncalled for, no reason at all.
As far as showing new things to give teams "more" to have to prepare for, the better idea is to show as little as possible, then surprise future opponents.
