The passing opened up holes for the run game. Why couldn’t we call plays like this in the first half?

Because our QB was injured. He threw for over 170 in the first half.

It's the leadership, just being out there for encouragement that you normally see from injured guys. Staying in the locker room implies to your teammates, in my mind, a more serious injury.

So I am taking up for Jeff Lebby here. The commentators made the big question of why he didn't go for 2 on their last td to make a one score game. Yes possibly you cut to 8. However if you don't get it and now the TD Tennessee just got would have put us up 17 a three score game. As it stands it's 16 and still two scores. Too risky at that juncture of the game to try chasing points.
