The Official #7 Tennessee vs. Mississippi State Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN (hopefully it stays)

looks like Nico has problems grasping the offense. Moore looks more confident back there than Nico does
I have thought this all season. Makes sense since he’s been in the offense 5 years. He just unfortunately decided to throw a horrible INT during his one time to shine. He’s not as talented but I believe he understands the offense more than Nico at this point.

I don't think it's a "concussion" looked more like bruised ribs.
He’s not staying in the locker room for bruised ribs. He took a shot on a pass right at the end of the half. Where he was rolling to the right. Concussion makes sense for him not to be on field

Because our QB was injured. He threw for over 170 in the first half.

He was not injured the entire first half. We were getting stuffed running the ball a multiple times in the first half. It’s just confusing to me that Heupel is more willing to push the ball down the field when Gaston is in.

Moore doesn’t scare me throwing the ball that much more than Nico. He’s serviceable. Heup isn’t afraid to let him pass. Let’s GO!
His passes are usually on point and he is looking composed even with pressure. I like what I see, honestly.

The passing opened up holes for the run game. Why couldn’t we call plays like this in the first half?
Having Gaston out there is like having a coach on the field. You can call it a little differently with him. This dude been in the same system for like 6 years. If he doesn't know the offense inside and out nobody does.

I am more concerned about the way our defensive tackles are getting avoided than I am about the injuries.
