Great photo, Yank! Go Vols.

People that had money on it
Then they must be the ones the disclaimer for the online sports books ads us aimed at. I don't know which is the actual death nail for college sports: legalized gambling, the transfer portal, or NIL. I heard heard multiple people around me at the game make statements like "I guess the coaches don't care about covering the spread" or "Don't the coaches care about the over/under?"

WHEN THEY DO, IT'LL BE TIME TO "TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, THE PARTY'S OVER!"

Will someone tell me what the defense is that during the snap the linebackers bail to the edge leaving four in the box basically. This is what happened the last two games a lot and I believe the reason we are giving up so much running yards all of a sudden. Runner gets through the line and is free to the secondary. No run fits by backers, never seen this before.

That shift the offense was using where they would shift the receivers late seemed to open up the middle. You could call the run up the middle from where I was sitting. They finally started leave a backer as almost a spy.

I doubt it. Georgia can't throw. Tennessee's defense can maul them. If we play 20% cleaner, Tennessee will win. On our worst day, Georgia wins barely.
I know one thing. If Georgia doesn’t find a better LT than #71, Beck won’t make it out of the first qtr. That guy can’t block Joseph or Pierce. The Ole Miss DE was running around him all night. I think they replaced him late but it was still bad.

I love you guys. Unhappy with a win, even to the point of wanting the ultimate enemy of our team to make decisions for us. Did you lose one or more of your bets?

So you think the second and third stringers are going to learn how to run the offense by going out there and taking a knee...

Gotcha

There was substantial time left in the game, it's not like I was advocating for a bomb with 3 seconds left on the clock

We still think “this defense has given up” 😂

Game after game after game people keep saying this in first or second quarter in these threads. Think y’all would learn by now.
Yep. One more team that couldn’t get 20 pts or 300 yds on this defense. You would think folks would finally understand that this defense is pretty elite. What I know is that there are some posters who wouldn’t know a football if it hit them in the nose.

It’s a great Saturday mainly because Tennessee outplayed this awful MS Bulldogs team, and the Rebels made the Georgia Bulldogs a pawn ♟️ because of controlling most of the game by holding them to a measly 10 points.

Coach Smart will forever remember the 2023 Georgia Bulldogs gave the Rebels a vast amount of bulletin board material for huge motivation to win in convincing fashion when the Bulldogs bulldozed the Rebels.

Agreed. Tennessee can win this ugly. Defense can carry the day.

Well you don't know what dominant is. We played one of the weaker early schedules in the country. Teams have possessed the ball in conference games.
What? Whoever i quoted spelled it wrong. Next, you have heard of the concept of time of possession? Both team will possess the ball. What on earth are you saying?

I appreciate your comments. Do you feel that is a reason to BOO the team or coaches? We have a major game coming up this weekend. Would you rather the team go all out right before the Georgia game? Maybe risk an injury to a key player in a completely meaningless game? Your kind would have utterly lost your minds when Majors was the coach.

Not sure what your argument is....

the only thing I BOO'ed was "Get next nears players experience"

Your kind would have utterly lost your minds when Majors was the coach. He stuck with his upperclassmen even when an underclassmen wat better

Oh…so you have no basis for your original comment.
Are you confusing him with me ?
I was the poster who suggested Gaston Moore might be a better choice at this point in Nico's development.
The offense and play calling did open up noticeably the 2nd half. Moore understands more of the playbook, given his 6 years with Heupel.
They opened up throwing downfield on 1st down, no less. Looked like to me like, this time, the passing opened up the run game.
