Getting son’s oil change and listening to Vol network. I swear “Jerry from Bulls Gap” (I think that’s name of city) calls into every show. 😆 I’m sure he’s a great Vol fan but No subs tn we to just calls.

Edit- Anyway, great win today! Nice to see every Vol fan be happy @ 5-0!

Still can't believe we spanked LSU at "Death Valley" 40-13. That has to sting the LSU faithful. I was ok w letting em have a last td in fact....but pleasantly surprised we even kept em from that. Just a beat down shutting those Cajun kooks up. Rocky Top ringing through THEIR stadium at the end. Just a beautiful game. I was even ok w the "woooo."

I love that you may get so drunk and wake up there next morning only to remember that Tennessee beat the crap out of those Cajuns....lol...it's happened to me....it's so glorious.

Huepel is not looking at UT as a stepping stone to get back to his alma mater. Huepel has experienced our fans and our resources. If he continues on this trajectory to finish the year, he will be paid handsomely and be a top 3 coach in the SEC in salary.

He obviously has a great relationship with Danny White to trust him enough to accept the train wreck we were at that time. And he has the players, coaches, admin and fans all on his side now.

And OU is a lesser job that UT. Especially after Venables gets done with it.

I imagine there will be alot of worry and speculation here that Heupel will pull a Kiffin on us and bolt to his alma mater Oklahoma. We'll we always worry about something.

I'm seeing talk about Tennessee being the best team in the country. I don't for a minute buy into that yet. But it is interesting to see.

Dickey left for Florida and then we had two guys that played at Tennessee coach for decades. Then the only coach (Kiffin) that somebody else wanted left. Huepel will be wanted so grab some popcorn and wait for hopefully a happy ending.

Seriously, if you are wanting to build a name for yourself, build it at a program that hasn't had recent success. OU gives the impression that the driver of their calistoga wagon could win a NC there. We do not. Building an elite program here is a much greater accomplishment.

I know we have great tradition and fans and facilities, but that hasn't meant much recently. We have the coach seemingly. Let's make sure we keep him unless he pulls a Pruitt or Jones on us.
