I imagine there will be alot of worry and speculation here that Heupel will pull a Kiffin on us and bolt to his alma mater Oklahoma. We'll we always worry about something.

I don't think there are that many Vols who have not studied his history and are stupid enough to give it much credence. Bama and Georgia might look like better landing spots, being in the premier conference and all, but he does not appear like a guy that would let OK exercise the FOOL ME TWICE option.

Hope he does not want to be the Governor.

Seriously, if you are wanting to build a name for yourself, build it at a program that hasn't had recent success. OU gives the impression that the driver of their calistoga wagon could win a NC there. We do not. Building an elite program here is a much greater accomplishment.

I know we have great tradition and fans and facilities, but that hasn't meant much recently. We have the coach seemingly. Let's make sure we keep him unless he pulls a Pruitt or Jones on us.

I agree, I think he’d make a big mistake to leave us.
