I get your frustration and hopefully your are being a bit over zealous regarding D Line coach.

Our LBs must get off the blocks and make plays. Our D isn’t set up to get many sacks. LB play has been our problem. As a result, we play a lot of DBs (nickel) to get faster athletes on the field, esp in coverage.

Could you explain what you mean by “isn’t set up to get many sacks?” We have studs on the DL, unless we are playing soft zone (allows qb to find open receiver quickly) how would we be not set up to get many sacks?

Sure I can, but wrong about what? That our play calling was paltry early on and many times throughout this season… and it has hurt us? Are you saying it hasn’t been? You mistake someone’s criticism of a glaring deficiency for them not being glad when the ship is righted. It’s just observations. It’s a sports forum, during a game.
