If he does leave this year fans need to be prepared to be patient with the next guy because he’s likely going to have to throw together a team from scratch. I would not expect any of the signees or eligible returnees to stay. We could be Wade Houston bad next year.

We all love Barnes and I know you defend him more than anyone - but you don't have to make this program out to be an absolute disaster in this day and age. Kentucky (understand its different with them being Kentucky) just redid their entire roster. We don't have to fall off the face of the college basketball landscape just because of a change

When Barnes does retire, I think you first go after Pearl.

After that? Things get very suspect. Do you go after a Will Wade type? Not too many qualified candidates out there with Tennessee ties.

My biggest criticism tonight.

We did exactly what Kentucky needed us to do on both ends to win.

On defense they’re slow and struggle defending the drive, we shoot the most 3s of the season.

On offense they want to shoot the 3 & we gave them countless open looks.

This roster isn’t as talented overall as last year’s team. But there is more offensive firepower we just need to see everyone start clicking again like earlier in the year.

Kim is a pace offense, terribly inefficient though. But she hasn’t gotten enough talent yet to run it the way she wants.

I don't think the gimmicks will work but maybe she plans to do away with some of it when the real talent arrives. The constant NHL style shift changes are just weird. The opponent still wins the end of both halfs despite the constant subbing.

And that's my fear to. Anytime it's a rising star, more often than not, it doesn't work out.

It has. The lack of offense leads to some maddening losses and ugly ball at times but I do agree with what one poster said. On a neutral court there won’t be a team in the tournament that wants to see us.

Well all they have to do is let the Vols shoot the three ball. Odds are decent that the Vols won’t make shots.

There aren’t any gimmicks, she has probably 3-4 girls on roster right now that are truly talented enough to play at a high level. She needs 8+ for her system to really be unstoppable.

But she’s got the single best HS class incoming that I can remember since Pat. 5 top 100 players in the same class.

People really need to get over Pearl, he does not care one iota about UT anymore. He is not leaving Auburn until retirement.
