That messed up finger has stalled his offense I think. His mom has alluded to him being pretty banged up on X.

If Chaz & Igor were at the same level on defense as the rest of the guys I think we would’ve won at least 2 of these close losses, despite bad offense.

At this point in English coaching career, he should not be considered for any top tier D1 job.

The TN job is secure until Barnes decides to retire and Barnes has earned that. Pearl is an excellent coach but that ship has sailed.

I just hope that when Barnes decides to retire, the powers that be go get the best coach money can buy.

TN has a great basketball program!

Guy just can't shoot. Does good at rebounding but I mean, this guy is supposed to be a stretch and I haven't seen any type of consistency on offense

I hope I’m wrong but honestly he’s due to miss on a hire. Even Steph Curry misses a shot eventually. And we’ve never had two great basketball coaches in a row.

What works in his favor is basketball is his sport though. So we’ll see.

He has worked on it and shows in some areas. Especially the free throw line. He was a liability for a bit. It just confidence for him. He has to get it back

Talent gap was evident tonight, Kentucky is a notch better than advertised and rebuilt their roster much quicker than Tennessee did in the off season, Vols sit at 4-4, Florida and Mizzou coming to town, with a trip to Norman and up to Lexington, season on the brink, the number one ranking is long gone, hopes for a one or two seed have faded, lose to Florida, you may be out of the top 20, a 6 or 7 seed is looming large, Barnes needs to show us he still has fuel in the tank as once the talent level or execution falls below the waterline, particularly on the home floor, the program begins to regress and the how did we end up here comes to the surface.

Well all they have to do is let the Vols shoot the three ball. Odds are decent that the Vols won’t make shots.

Wonder what we'd look like if Estrella was healthy and Barnes had kept Dillione and Carr? I know, I know...they didn't fit what Barnes was looking for. Thankfully we got Igor and Lanier to fill the void and we we certainly needed to save some scholarships and money so the short bench is a real plus in that regard.

And how did we shoot in those losses? They are still losses in which we shot horrendously and lacked offensive identity. Good? Yeah, as good as we thought? No. They could get better, we shall see, but Im about as down as I’ve been in a while at this point in the season.
