Can’t argue stupidity.

It’s close enough to midfield that the 5 yards are irrelevant. Maybe the ref calls for a review. Maybe the defense jumps. Heupel probably knew he was going to punt anyway.

Even with the 5 yard penalty the punter could put it in the end zone if he wanted. Irrelevant penalty.
