The Official #8 Tennessee vs. Tarleton State Game Thread, 6:30 PM ET, SEC Network+

We lose Vescovi, JJJ, Knecht, Dillione, Gainey, Jefferson, Carr, and one of Estrella or Phillips
Each Freshman after the end of the year is going to have some important questions to ask themselves. This year has to be tough on them. With such a hard schedule, it doesn't seem like they are going to get much playing time barring injury. I wouldn't be surprised by any of them leaving like you have listed. I don't think three will leave, but maybe two. Miles Turner has discussed his college experience on podcast a couple of times. In the video below he goes through his perspective of his time at Texas.

Not everyone can play for a guy like Barnes. Might hate him, but he'll make you better.....or make you leave.

Guy sounds like a locker room cancer POS. “I barely played”. Over 22 minutes per game as a true freshman. On a team that he says was very good a year earlier that had everybody returning. It’s a team sport - he puts himself way above his team. He doesn’t sound coachable at all.

We continue to pull these performances, even with all the excuses everyone constantly makes, and we'll get scorched in SEC play... Ole Miss is undefeated and about to come to TBA in a few weeks and is about to flat embarrass us if we don't figure something out. But of course Barnes will fix it, right, like he always does, making adjustments... so we should be fine.

In all seriousness maybe fatigue has set in on this team since they've had to constantly play at such a high level almost every game while other teams have been coasting into conference play... Barne's idea of playing so many tough teams at first all at once may have backfired and we are running on fumes both emotionally and physically.

Either way that was flat ugly.

Ole Miss sure did embarrass us tonight. A sign of a good team is one who loses by less than 30 on the road. Tennessee should be ashamed.
